ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Scope / Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on laws, regulations, and legal requirements relevant to the Council’s activities and operations.
  • Support the review and preparation of agreements, MoUs, policies, procedures, and other corporate legal documents.
  • Assist in preparing legal research notes, summaries, assessments, correspondence, and supporting documentation.
  • Work with the Legal Affairs team in providing legal guidance and responses to internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in reviewing corporate documents to ensure alignment with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the identification and documentation of potential legal and regulatory risks for further review by senior team members.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments and provide updates on changes that may affect the Council.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect information and documentation required for legal reviews and matters.
  • Support the maintenance of legal records, templates, references, precedents, and other legal documentation.
  • Assist with general corporate legal matters, cases, claims, and other legal activities as required.
  • Support Legal Affairs projects, initiatives, and day-to-day activities as assigned.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • 1–4 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in legal research, corporate legal support, legal advisory, or a related legal function.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of UAE federal and local laws, regulations, and legal frameworks.
  • Experience or academic exposure to legal research, legal analysis, document review, and preparation of legal summaries and reports.
  • Good analytical, research, drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
