ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Scope / Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned procurement and acquisition activities in line with approved procurement plans, strategies, budgets, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with end-users and relevant stakeholders to identify and translate acquisition needs and requirements into procurement activities.
  • Manage the preparation and execution of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, tenders, direct purchases, and other sourcing activities.
  • Conduct due diligence on procurement and tender documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Coordinate technical and commercial evaluations of supplier proposals and support supplier selection and award recommendations.
  • Evaluate commercial and financial offers, conduct market and price analysis, and prepare recommendations to support procurement decisions.
  • Participate in negotiations with local and international suppliers to achieve competitive commercial terms and meet operational requirements.
  • Support the preparation and review of contracts, purchase orders, and procurement-related agreements in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor assigned procurement programs from initiation through contract award and signing, ensuring achievement of key milestones and deliverables.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of localization requirements and targets within assigned procurement programs.
  • Identify procurement risks, issues, and dependencies and recommend appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with end-users, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective and timely execution of procurement activities.
  • Support lifecycle cost, financial impact, category planning, and procurement analysis as required.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, reports, trackers, and supporting documentation.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, contracts, acquisition, or a related field.
  • Experience in end-to-end procurement, tendering, commercial evaluation, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
  • Good knowledge of RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, sourcing methodologies, commercial analysis, and procurement governance.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
