ABOUT THE ROLE

Job Scope / Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual, commercial, regulatory, and governance requirements.
  • Monitor contract deliverables, milestones, SLAs, obligations, budgets, payments, penalties, and incentives and ensure timely completion of contractual requirements.
  • Manage contract amendments, variations, change orders, extensions, renewals, and terminations in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders and end-users.
  • Manage and support the resolution of contractual disputes, claims, performance issues, and settlements, coordinating with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and other relevant functions.
  • Assess contract performance and provide recommendations on renewal, termination, penalties, waivers, or other corrective actions.
  • Manage contract closeout activities and maintain accurate and secure contract databases, repositories, records, and audit documentation.
  • Manage the end-to-end supplier qualification and evaluation process, ensuring suppliers meet applicable requirements and standards.
  • Develop and maintain effective engagement with local and international suppliers, defence contractors, and industry partners.
  • Develop and implement supplier monitoring plans, performance criteria, and review mechanisms based on supplier risk and strategic importance.
  • Identify supplier performance issues, risks, and challenges and coordinate appropriate corrective actions and improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct and analyze supplier and industry engagement activities, including surveys, interviews, and Voice of Industry initiatives, to identify market challenges, opportunities, and supplier needs.
  • Maintain a comprehensive supplier database and performance information as a reliable source of supplier capabilities, products and services, operational performance, and other relevant information.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, assessments, and recommendations on contract performance, supplier health, supplier capabilities, risks, and key issues for management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of contract and supplier management frameworks, processes, systems, and performance standards.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Preferred Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in contract management, supplier management, procurement, commercial management, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in contract lifecycle management, supplier performance management, contractual obligations, claims, variations, and commercial risk management.
  • Experience in supplier qualification, performance assessment, supplier development, and vendor relationship management.
  • CIPS, WorldCC/CCM, PMP, or other relevant procurement/contract
